So I guess I missed the memo on “Meatless Mondays”

Sheeesh, here I thought Meatless Mondays was code for a lesbo orgy of some sort.

Wait, #MeatlessMondays doesn't mean lesbo orgy?

Whoops.

Well, in order to be apart of the “in crowd”, here’s a simple but oh so eggslutty mid day snack: soft eggs on thick cut world-famous Boudin sourdough bread.

Yep, we do like a little texture to our eggs so we got that slight crust around the outside of the egg.

Best part? first slice into that yolk.

Bright creamy thick richness covers the bottom of the plate. Meanwhile, you slice your bread like a samurai and sop up the goodness w/ your thick cut slice.

Of course the sourdough is non-toasted so that you can totally utilize full capacity of it’s sponge like soft innards.

Go ahead…soak it up. You know you like it juicy, sloppy, and moist.

Fork me bitches...I'm done.

As we head out to The Taste of Tremont, we were reminiscing about the great food and hilarious people there every year. 

2010 Taste of Tremont Sunday July 18, 2010 from 12n-8p

 

For those of you that don’t know, in Cleveland, the Tremont area has a TON of great restaurants – each with their own personality, prices, and charm. 

Best foods? Well, most of our line *LOVES NACHOS* (shocking right?). And the most memorable from last year was Chef Rocco’s Fahrenheit’s “Nacho Chips” (Shown below from last year’s 2009 Taste of Tremont).

(Like tigers at the feast, the ready hands in the background of our line chefs waiting to devoure demolish the helpless nachos) 

Rough chopping of tomatos, green onions, bacon, and three different cheeses. Healthy crunchy w/ the right amount of cheese….Oh yes my friends, that cheese sauce brought it all together. All of my favorite “food groups” in one – Salty, crunchy, savory, cheezy, and bacon. To quote Stewie Griffin, “It’s like an orgy in my mouth!”

In any case, a ton of other great Chefs and restaurants have worked hard to produce great food! So get out to the Taste of Tremont today! 

Oh, if you see us, today’s secret word is “humuhumunukunukuapua’a” and we’ll buy you our favorite Nacho Chips.
